MTS to be endorsed by Imran Khan-Rs 10-crore deal


MTS India has roped the famous and youth star Imran Khan for 10-crore as their brand ambassador. The deal has been finalized for two years. Delhi Belly star is the latest one to join a long list of celebrities and the 10-crore deal has really made him famous along with other stars. There are other stars such as Sharukh Khan, Abhishek Bachan, and MS Dhoni who are endorsing telecom companies.
Sistema Shyam TeleServices  brand has taken the celebrity plunge for the first time to endorse brands. Imran Khan endorses Coke and Levi’s jeans prior than MTS India. MTS India spokesperson and celebrity management firm KWAN Entertainment, who don’t manage Imran Khan but got him in striking this deal, refused to comment.
“Imran will promote MTS through mass media, online and below-the-line promotional activities. He will also be part of Red Energy, a youth-centric online activity for the brand," an official directly involved with the developments said. While the 2G scam has never warned telecom firms from wooing celebrity endorsers, it has influenced their ad spends.
10 TV advertisers out of eight countries during January-September this year were consumer goods makes. Idea Cellular was the only telecom firm in the ranking, according to the media research firm TAM. The telecom sector has been facing tough times with raging controversy on 2G spectrum allocation, rock-bottom tariffs, sliding average revenue per user, thinning margins and falling profits.
There were numerous problems due to higher interest costs, 3G roaming agreements being disputed by the government add to the sector’s problems. Approval and introduction of the new telecom policy that would have allowed liberal merger and acquisition norms and helped in consolidation of the sector, has been pushed back by nearly half a year.

After the Rockstar got released Ranbir Kapoor has received loads of applauds for his fabulous acting. Young and chocolate boy which is a nickname allotted to him by his youth fans is roaring the whole world.  He is proved to be the strong contender in front of other Khans and Kumar’s from our film industry.

Four years back Ranbir was introduced in the movie SAWARIYA. The cute looks of this young star was so adorable that his fans of him are running crazy behind his looks and acting. The well known film Rockstar has made him the most strong and best actor in the whole industry. Film experts and critics has also made a comment that Ranbir Kapoor has that diligent potential which can lead him to be the most strong competitor in front of other actors. 

Imtiaz Ali, the director of the movie Rockstar has done a wonderful direction and replicated Ranbir’s role in great way. In the movie it was displayed as Janardhan Jakhar, a simple Jat boy who transforms himself as Rockstar “Jordan” who travels all over the Europe to find his lady love has earned maximum compliments and also earned gross of 70 crores as net collection. “This has also broken the record of weekend collections of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir and Salman movies,” says Komal Nahata, a film trade analyst. According to Nahata, Kapoor, 29, is now miles ahead of others in his age group — Imran Khan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Ranveer Singh. “He is now at par with the Bollywood biggies. With age on his side, he has a big edge over his counterparts.”

Kapoor’s endorsement fees, say those in the business, have also sky-rocketed to Rs 10-11 crore for a one year contract, from around Rs 7 crore earlier. Only Aamir Khan commands a higher fee at Rs 13-14 crore; Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan are available for much less — Rs 8-10 crore and Rs 6-8 crore, respectively. Post-Rockstar, as many as four or five new advertisers want to sign Kapoor. “He has all the qualities an average Indian seeks — he is an obedient son, a talented actor and has great looks. He is a combination of star charisma, acting and warmth,” says Anirban Das Blah, managing director of KWAN Entertainment & Marketing Solutions which handles Kapoor’s endorsements.
There are other directors and producers who agree that Ranbir is the most talented actor. Karan Johar has mentioned “Ranbir’s performance is beyond extraordinary. He has chosen path breaking roles. He has the combination of acting brilliance and cinema presence. Now he can only rise as a superstar”.
Ranbir Kapoor has ranked on top three who has even cracked Sharukh Khans rank beyond it. He has maintained the consistency level throughout the time he has started his acting career. The revenue generation of his film has been on super par than other new films.  Rajneeti was also one of the best movie which Ranbir has received applauds from the audience.

Felicitation Meetings for Total Elf Oil-KWAN Entertainment Organized and Executed Fantastically

Marketing solutions of KWAN Entertainment had organized a meet and great sessions for Total Elf Oil at Hyatt Regency in Mumbai and Pune on Sept 25 and Sept 30. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor was part of this great event. Distributors and dealers in Mumbai and Pune were targeted by the event managed by KWAN entertainment.

Main motto of organizing this event was to create awareness about Total Elf Oil and get all the dealers and distributors together at one platform. All the distributors had met the necessary sales targeted by them. Most people who were deserved were felicitated at the event and were also presented with motorbike as a token of appreciation.

Sameer Bhaddapurikar-Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications of Tata Oil India mentioned once “This is our second event with KWAN Entertainment.
